The Lian Li Edge Gold PSU is an exceptional power supply unit, whether you’re building a top-tier gaming PC or a powerful workstation. The 850W power delivery supports a wide range of hardware, including power hungry components such as an Intel Core i9-14600K CPU or an NVIDIA RTX 4070 Super GPU.

The Lian Li Edge PSU is constructed from premium quality components designed to facilitate outstanding performance and energy efficiency. In place of the traditional Japanese capacitors, the Edge Gold comes with a range of industrial-grade German EPCOS capacitors. Whilst smaller, these caps are much more robust and are often utilised in the motor industry for vital components, such as the engine control unit and ABS brakes. Thanks to using high-end components, the Lian Li Edge is incredibly efficient and has received an 80 PLUS Gold certification, meaning it remains 92% efficient whilst under a half load.

Innovative Form Factor

The Lian Li Edge PSU utilises a unique L-Shaped form factor, which can accommodate a longer PCB. Because of this, the power ports can be directly mounted to the board instead of to a separate daughter board, providing a much more secure connection. What's more, this highly efficient design leads to a cleaner cable set-up with no kinks or bends, as the power cables will exit at a 90° angle and can travel directly to your hardware.

Alongside this, the unique layout is much more user-friendly, especially when installed in a dual-chamber case where the PSU is vertically mounted. You’ll have easy access to all the power outputs, perfect for plugging in your power cables or making upgrades when the PSU is in place. However, the Lian Li Gold Edge is also highly compatible with many case layouts. Most standard chassis with a PSU shroud include removable cover plates for mounting storage drives. Removing these can give you direct access to the PSU ports of a Lian Li Gold Edge when mounted with the fan facing up.

An Industry First

The Lian Li Edge Gold PSU is the next logical step over the previous generation of Lian Li Edge PSUs. In place of an integrated USB hub, the Edge Gold boasts support for a removable model with both USB and PWM connectivity. When mounted to the Edge Gold, the hub draws power from a dedicated connector built into its rear panel. When detached and mounted elsewhere, power is supplied through a PCIe power interface.
